What final product did you create for our exhibition?
Are you proud of it? Why or why not? What was the process that you went through to create your presentation? What did you learn from the process and about the information you are presenting on? What was a challenge you faced while creating your display? After these past two weeks, what is your definition of sustainability and what it means to be an environmental steward?

My group and i first made a robot, made 100% of recycled materials, a couple of items we used were.... bottles, newspaper, bottle caps, and card board. It took two days to build our robot, after we finished I felt relived because we have put so much time and effort into our work of art. I am EXTREMELY proud of the final product because it took a lot of work and we put a lot of thought into it.
The next item we made was a termite 3d model made out of....... plant waste. I am proud of this final product because it took a lot of time to find every little piece of plant that would fit right for the termite's body.

The process we went through was making a lot of decisions and learning how to compromise and listen to what other people say. A challenge that popped up during the creation of our display was one person wanted it to look one way and another person wanted it to look another way. We eventually work it out by a little helpful thing called the beauty of compromise.

I personally think that sistainability is people recycling and helping our Earth so there is less polution in our air. thats what i think sistainability is. What dose it mean to be an environmental steward ?Environmental stewards strive to sustain natural resources and our environment for future generations. People depend on natural resources for their livelihood. However, pressures on the environment resulting from development are steadily increasing. Therefore, it is necessary for citizens and the business community to ensure that their activities and operations are environmentally responsible.

a freegan is some who lives off of someones trash,and they are vegans.
once a freegan found a workking i pod in s dumpster in new york city.

1. What is biomimicry?
imitating life.

2. Why are termites a great subject for biomimicry research
termites have enzymes that could make fuel from parts of plants that are not being eaten

3. What is an enzyme? What is a catalyst?
catalyst is something that speeds up a process .
enzyme is a catalyst of breaking down food.

4. What is cellulosic material?
it is a part of a plant that we dont eat.

5. Why would cellulosic ethanol be more sustainable and efficient than biofuels using corn or sugar cane?
becuase insted of waisting a part of a plant we do not eat we can use it as fuel.

innersetion

hey yall this is my blog okay so i am going to talk about my innerssetion. my innersetion is about sistainability. we went to catalina 4 3 days and it was so fun. in our innersetion we need to recycle cuase its part of our innersetion . its so fun i wanna do it again it was so so so so fun. so yeah it was the best experience. i loved it i cant wait till next year its gunna be fun really.
